Elder Lindquist 1/18/10

Hey all how's it going? Wow what a week! A lot of stuff has been going on and I'm really excited right now. We got a call a little bit ago and Elder Daley was called to be the new AP. It was so funny because this whole last week he and others in the zone were saying that I would get called but it backfired on him. The other day we had a division with the AP’s and Elder Daley went to the office and saw the transfer board. He said that I was off the board (meaning president hadn't put me in a certain place yet.) and he was staying since he only has one transfer left, but president is always moving stuff around. I'm getting a Brazilian whose name is Elder Bezerra. I've already talked to him a few times at zone conferences and I'm really excited to serve with him, he's coming in from the Azores. Well it was a tug of war all this week to get Antónia and her family baptized, and we were able to baptize Nuno and Gonçalo yesterday. Antónia is working on the word of wisdom and we're praying for her to get baptized soon. It was a really cool experience. I'm excited to start this transfer we're going to keep working hard and tearing it up! It's important that we never loose hope in life, if we give up our hope, we fall right into the plan of Satan. We must always have faith that things will turn out for the best and that we can overcome any obstacle. With our faith, we can move mountains. I hope that all is well with you and that you are growing and learning daily too! Have a great week.
